Background
My name is Carlos Gil, I have over 15 years of experience in the IT field with a passion for Information Security. I graduated from FIU's MSIT - Information Security program in 2015. I have contributed as a team leader in a global Fortune 500 organization. While mainly focused on building an application security program from sratch, I am also experienced in creating automation and I'm happy reading and writing code in over a dozen programming languages. I am bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish.

I have participated in many domains of information security including software development security, security assessment and testing, security operations and incident response, communication and networking as well as security architecture and engineering. I can understand business needs and create security solutions and controls that will help meet the business objectives. I am the person that everyone comes to when trying to solve the most complex and intricate problems.
